Day 1: ARRIVAL TO COSTA RICA

Our staff is prepared to welcome you at Juan Santamaría International Airport. Once you are in the baggage claim area, you will be identified by a staff member carrying a board with your name and a sticker will be placed on your clothes for an easier identification. You will received your welcome package and will be transfer to your hotel. Lodging at your selected hotel.                                        

Day 2: POÁS VOLCANO + LA PAZ WATERFALL GARDENS + DOKA COFFEE TOUR

After breakfast, departure to Poás Volcano Nacional Park. During this trip, you will visit Alajuela province where you can be amazed by coffee plantations and Cattle farms. At the Volcano, you will visit the crater and Botos Lagoon. Then, we will be headed to La Paz Waterfall Gardens, where we will visit the magnificent waterfalls Templo, Magia Blanca, Encantada and La Paz. Also visit the hummingbird gallery and the butterfly farm. Enjoy a delicious tipical lunch. Return to San José in the afternoon. Lodging at selected hotel.

Day 3: SAN JOSÉ –TORTUGUERO NATIONAL PARK

We’ll leave quite early today to head towards the caribbean side of costa rica. We will pass by the Braulio Carrillo National Park considered one of the most beautiful parks in our country.We will stop for breakfast in Guapilés and then will continue our adventure to the port, where we will board a boat and will travel along the Tortuguero Canals until we reach our final destination.As soon as we get to the lodge, a tasty lunch will be served at the restaurant. In the afternoon, visit Tortuguero Town and to the Turtle Conservation Museum. Dinner and lodging at selected hotel.

Day 4: TORTUGUERO NATIONAL PARK

In the morning, after breakfast, we are taken on a hiking trip on the natural trails, where we will get close to the surrounding forest and learn about its species, plants and inhabitants. Then enjoy a relaxing boat tour along the backwater canals allowing us to discover the wildlife that resides in the area. During turtle nesting season (From July to September) an optional & extra cost night tour is available to observe this magnificent event. Dinner and lodging at selected hotel

Day 5: TORTUGUERO NATIONAL PARK –ARENAL

Breakfast. Boat transfer to Caño Blanco. At your arrival in Guapilés, lunch will be served and later you will change transportation to Arenal. Arrival at the hotel. We recommend as an optional activity to visit to the Tabacón Resort, to enjoy a dip in the thermal pools. If the weather allows us, you may see Arenal Volcano´s frequent explosions. Lodging at selected hotel.

Day 6: ARENAL

Breakfast. In the afternoon, guided walk to Arenal Volcano and later a delicious dip in the termal pools of Tabacón, where you can relax and rest in a natural paradise, while you enjoy the ctivity of our imponent Arenal Volcano. Dinner and transfer to hotel. Lodging at selected hotel.

Day 7: ARENAL –MONTEVERDE

Breakfast. Departure to Monteverde, famous for its cloud forest and an impressive biodiversity.

Monteverde Reserve, located at more than 1400mts above sea level, is the home of one of the  most exotic birds: The Quetzal. Free Afternnon. Lodging at selected hotel.

Day 8: MONTEVERDE

Today, an exciting tour awaits you: Selvatura Skywalk and Canopy tour. Yes, you will feel like walking in the air. You will walk on the suspension bridges to admire the surrounding forest. Every shade of green in this cloud forest is represented, and the variety of flora is truly

amazing. Luckily, you might also see from here the magnificent and famous Quetzal and some other mammals. There are 8 bridges that go from 50 to 170 metres long and altitudes between 12 and 60 meters. The Canopy tour at Selvatura is very safe. Our guides will dressed our visitor with full equipment and then will take you through each one of 15 cables and platforms. Tarzan Swing is optional.

 Day 9: MONTEVERDE--MANUEL ANTONIO / GUANACASTE

Breakfast. This day, transfer to the majestic beaches on the Pacific coast, to choose between Manual Antonio aand Guanacaste. Lodging on selected hotel.

Day 10: DAY AT LEISURE ON THE BEACH

Breakfast. Free day for leisure at the beach. Lodging on selected hotel.

Day 11: RETURN TO SAN JOSÉ

Breakfast. You will be transfer back to San José. Lodging at the selected hotel.

Day 12: DEPARTURE FROM COSTA RICA

Breakfast. Today transfer out to Juan Santamaría International Airport to take your flight back home.
